Watersports Equipment Rental
The Maho Bay Water Sports Center, just a few feet from the beautiful, secluded beach at Maho Bay Camps, is a full-service, PADI certified dive shop, with a complete selection of programs for beginners or certified divers. We also rent kayaks, small sailboats, windsurfing gear, beach chairs, floatation mats and sell or rent snorkeling equipment. Experts provide instructions to maximize fun and safety. Fish and coral charts and guides help to enhance the underwater experiences. Check with our Activities Desk for a weekly dive schedule.
Enjoy the beauty of Maho Bay from the water by renting a boat or windsurfer for an hour or more. Brief instructions will be given for kayak rentals and a 2-hour sailing or windsurfing lesson is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 1pm. Rental prices are below:

Snorkeling is one of the all time favorite visitor activities and should not be missed on St. John. A wide array of tropical fish can be seen by just swimming off the beach at Maho Bay — parrot fish, angel fish, blue tang, spotted eagle rays, octopus, and turtles. Chairs and floaties are also available for rent for those wanting to kick back and float for awhile or relax on the beach.
