Adult Art Classes
While staying at Maho Bay Camps, guests can enjoy classes in the many art forms we offer in making beautiful art pieces out of recycled materials. Our experienced staff artists are also excellent teachers, helping individuals who have never taken an art course as well as those who practice art at home.

Glass Blowing - Introductory Lesson
Learn from our fulltime glass blowing artists how to create your own paperweight or glass creation made in our outdoor glass studio. Classes are 1-hour and introduce students to all the fundamentals of the art of glass blowing from recycled glass.
Open Clay Studio
For those who have experience with clay - no instruction given. Cost includes 10lbs clay.
Kids & Family Potter's Wheel
Get messy in the mud. Learn about "throwing" on a potter's wheel. A brief overview on how to prepare the clay, center and throw a basic cylinder. Instructor will help trim, glaze, and fire your pieces. Finished pieces may need to be shipped because of time restraints.
Watercolor Landscapes
You will try out tools and techniques: washes, wet into wet, glazing, color lifting as you see and interpret the landscape.
Ceramic Pendants & Wind Chimes
Create your own necklaces with pendants made from pressed island leaves or remember the tropics with your handmade wind chimes.
Papermaking
Learn how to form beautiful hand-made paper from recycled, shredded office paper.
